Evli Bireylerde Psikolojik Zihinlilik ile Evlilik Doyumunun Değerlendirilmesi

Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırma, evli bireylerde psikolojik zihinlilik ile evlilik doyumunu
tespit edebilmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın alt amaçlarında ise hem psikolojik
zihinliliğin hem de evlilik doyumunun demografik değişkenlere dayalı
karşılaştırılması yer almaktadır.
Yöntem: Araştırmanın tarama modelinde yürütülmesine karar verilmiştir.
Araştırmanın evrenini 18-65 yaş grubunda yer alan yetişkin evli bireyler oluştururken
örneklem grubunu ise 500 evli bireyden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplamak için Psikolojik
Zihinliliğin Dengelenmiş Dizini Ölçeği ve Evlilik Doyumu Ölçeği kullanılmıştır.
Araştırma sonunda elde edilen veriler, SPSS-25’te analiz edilmiştir. İlgili analizlerde;
parametrik yöntemler tercih edilmiştir.
Bulgular: Evli bireylerin hem psikolojik zihinlilik düzeylerinin hem de evlilik
doyumlarının cinsiyet, yaş grubu, eğitim durumu, gelir durumu, yaşanılan yer ve
evlilik süresi gibi demografik değişkenlere dayalı olarak farklılaştığı bulunmuştur.
Ayrıca, psikolojik zihinlilik ile evlilik doyumu arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı ilişki
bulunurken psikolojik zihinliliğin evlilik doyumunu yordamasına ilişkin kurulan
modelin anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir.
Sonuç ve Tartışma: Araştırma sonunda, evli bireylerin piskolojik zihinlilik
düzeyleri yükselirken evlilik doyumlarının da yükseldiği; piskolojik zihinlilik
düzeyleri azalırken evlilik doyumlarının da azaldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu
sonuçtan hareketle, literatürdeki araştırmalar ile bağ kurulmuş ve araştırmanın
alanyazına kattıkları tartışılmıştır.
Aim: This research was conducted to determine the psychological mentality and marital satisfaction in married individuals. The sub-objectives of the research include the comparison of both psychological mindedness and marital satisfaction based on demographic variables. Method: It was decided to conduct the research in the scanning model. While the population of the research consists of adult married individuals in the 18-65 age group, the sample group consists of 500 married individuals. The Balanced Index of Psychological Mentality Scale and Marriage Satisfaction Scale were used to collect data. The data obtained at the end of the research were analyzed in SPSS-25. In the related analysis; parametric methods are preferred. Results: It was found that both the psychological mindedness and marital satisfaction of married individuals differ based on demographic variables such as gender, age group, education level, income status, place of residence and duration of marriage. In addition, while there was a positive and significant relationship between psychological mindedness and marital satisfaction, it was determined that the model established for the prediction of psychological mindedness on marital satisfaction was significant. Conclusion and Discussion: At the end of the research, while the psychological mindedness levels of married individuals increased, their marital satisfaction also increased; It was concluded that while the psychological mindedness levels decreased, the marital satisfaction also decreased. Based on this result, a connection was established with the researches in the literature and the contributions of the research to the literature were discussed.
