Kalkınma Yolu Projesi'nin emisyon modellemesi

Abstract

Kalkınma Yolu Projesi, özellikle Irak ve Türkiye için olmak üzere, Ortadoğu'nun jeopolitiğinde önemli değişikliklere yol açabilecek bir ticaret koridorudur. Bu projede, Kalkınma Yolu'nun Türkiye ve Irak'a sağlayacağı yararların yanı sıra, projenin oluşum sürecinde yer alan tüm taşıma modları ve süreçleri hakkında bilgi verilecektir. Söz konusu projenin gerçekleşirken etrafa yayacağı hava kirliliği göz önünde bulundurularak belirli önemler alınmak istenmiş ve bu çalışmada bu duruma istinaden belirli hesaplamalar yapılarak Kalkınma Yolu Projesi gerçekleştiğinde projenin güzergahlarında farklı taşıma modları ile yapılacak sevkiyatlarda etrafa yayacağı emisyon miktarı hesaplanarak gerekli önlemler alınması için de önemli bir kaynak olması öngörülmektedir.

The Development Road Project is a trade corridor initiative with the potential to significantly reshape the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East, particularly in Iraq and Türkiye. This study discusses the benefits that the Development Road is expected to bring to both the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of Iraq, while also providing detailed information about the transportation modes and logistics processes involved in the project's implementation. In addition, the study considers the potential air pollution that may arise during the execution of the project and proposes precautionary measures to mitigate these impacts. Specific calculations are conducted to estimate emissions along the project routes, based on shipments using different modes of transportation. The results are intended to serve as a valuable resource for informing environmental mitigation strategies.
