| dc.description.abstract | MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES Since its establishment, Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) has been advancing with a determination that embraces social and universal values by developing strategies to train the highly qualified manpower that our country needs and to provide qualified education. Always; We aimed for quality in education and training and research and development. These concepts are not only related to the university; It is a structure that requires cooperation with industry, public, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders. We strive to create a bright future for our students with the importance we attach to academic knowledge, lifelong development and sustainability. We continue to develop our efforts to transform the scientific values and outputs we produce into social benefit. .. In our 2024-2028 strategic plan, goals and targets that will enable IGU to stand out in the field of education and research have been created with a participatory approach and performance indicators have been determined. . During the strategic plan preparation process, the participation of our university's senior administrators, academic and administrative staff, students, graduates and external stakeholders was ensured through boards, commissions and committees. . Monitoring and evaluation are as important as the preparation of the Strategic Plan. We continue all the necessary improvement works within the scope of the "IGU Quality Assurance System". I have full faith that all members of the IGU family will make significant contributions to achieving the goals and objectives in the plan. I would like to thank all stakeholders who contributed to the IGU 2024-2028 Strategic Plan studies; I hope it will be beneficial for our university and our country.
