Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırma, vardiyalı ve nöbet sistemi şeklinde çalışan sağlık personelinin uyku süresi ile beslenme durumları arasındaki ilişkinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipte planlanan çalışma Ekim 2015-Aralık 2015 tarihleri arasında İstanbul İl Merkezi’nde bir kamu hastanesinde vardiyalı çalışan gönüllü 154 sağlık personelinde yapılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında anket formu ve vücut analiz cihazı kullanılmıştır. Anket formu sağlık çalışanlarının demografik özellikleri, çalışma şekli ve saatleri, uyku ve yemek düzeni, beslenme alışkanlıklarına yönelik sorulardan oluşmuştur. Bireylerin biyoelektrik impedans analiz (BİA) yöntemi ile vücut analizi yapılmıştır. Veriler %95'lik güven aralığında, anlamlılık p<0.05 düzeyinde, SPSS 23.0 programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan bireylerde erkeklerin yaş ortalaması 31.4 ± 1.0 ve kadınların 30.7 ± 1.0 yıl olup, geneli lisansüstü mezunudur (%41.6). Bireylerin %42.9’u hekim, %51.9’u hemşire, %3.3’ü yardımcı sağlık personelidir ve %38.3’ü nöbetli çalışmaktadır. Bireylerin Beden Kütle İndeksi (BKİ) değerleri erkeklerde 25.3±4.4, kadınlarda 23.1±5.3 kg/m2 bulunmuştur. Uyku saatleri; sürekli gündüz çalışanların %70.7’sinin düzenli olduğu, sürekli gece çalışanların %51.1’inin, nöbetli çalışanların %56.1’inin vardiya durumuna göre değiştiği görülmüştür (p>0.05). Katılımcıların %24’ünün her gün sabah, %35.7’sinin öğle, %66.9’unun akşam öğününü tükettiği, %64.3’ünün ev dışında yemek yediği bulunmuştur.
Aim: This study was performed to evaluate the relationship between sleep duration and nutrition status of the medical staff workers, working that shift. Method: This study planned on descriptive types between October 2015 – December 2015 with 154 volunteers working in shifts in a public hospital in İstanbul. The questionnaire and body analyser were used to collect the data. There were questions about the demographics of health workers, type of work and hours, sleeping and eating habits, in the questionnaire form. Bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA) method was used for body analysis. Data on the 95% confidence interval and the p<0.05 level was performed using SPSS 23.0. Findings: The mean age of the men 31.4 ± 1.0 and 30.7 ± 1.0 years for women, and participants in the study were generally post graduate degree (41.6%). 42.9% of participants were doctor, 51.9% of participants were nurses, 3.3% of participants were supporting health care workers and 38.3% of them were working in shifts. BMI scores were found 25.3 ± 4.4 in males, 23.1 ± 5.3 kg / m2 in females. Sleeping hours; 70.7% of participants who works in the regular daytime were routine, 51.1% of participants were working in night work and 56.1% of participants were working in shifts where found to change to shifts (p>0.05). 24% of participants had breakfast, 35.7% of them had lunch and 66.9% of them had dinner everyday and 64.3% of participants had ate outside everyday. Participants prefered to eat cookies, crackers and chips as snack (43.5%). Conclusion: Individuals working in shifts’ duration of sleep was found less than adequate on weekdays and adequate for the weekend. Shift workers in this group, the most skipped breakfast and preferred to eat cookies, crackers and chips as snack.
