Özet
Dergimizin değerli okuyucuları, Dergimizin dördüncü sayısında sizlerle birlikte olmanın heyecanını yaşıyoruz. Dergimize olan ilginin yoğunluğunun giderek artması bizi gelecek açısından iyimser düşünmeye zorlamaktadır. Keza bir sonraki sayının kontenjanının bile tamamen dolması doğru yolda olduğumuzun kanıtıdır. Ayrıca dergimiz uluslararası birçok indeks tarafından taranmaya başlanmıştır. Tüm bunların yanında üniversitemiz tarafından akademik bir derginin çıkarılmasında gerek Mütevelli Heyeti Başkanlığı’ndan gerekse Rektörlük ve Dekanlık makamlarından her türlü desteği almamız, bizlerin işlerini çok daha kolaylaştırmaktadır. Türkiye’deki genç akademisyenleri bilimsel yazı yazmaya zorlayacak en önemli etken kaliteli dergiciliktir. Bu bağlamda dergimiz, bilimsel ölçütleri ve akademik dergiciliğin değişmez kurallarını sıkı bir şekilde uygulamaktadır. Bu tavrımız çok daha nitelikli makale almamızı sağlamaktadır. Dergimizin sayılarında daha fazla makaleye yer vermek istiyoruz. Ancak gerek dergi formatından uzaklaşmak gerekse okuyucuyu yormak istemememiz nedenleriyle en fazla sekiz makale yayınlıyoruz. Dergimize gönderilen makalelerin fazlalığı bizleri mutlu bir yorgunluğa sürüklemektedir. Hakem sürecinden geçmiş olsa bile yer darlığı nedeniyle yayımlayamadığımız birçok makale bulunmaktadır. Hakem sürecinden geçmiş makaleler derginin sonraki sayılarında yayımlanmak üzere gönderildiği tarihe göre sıraya alınmaktadır. Değerli “Sosyal Bilimler Dergisi” okuyucuları, Bu sayımızda ilgiyle okuyacağınız sekiz makale ve iki kitap incelemesi bulunmaktadır. Bu sayıya makale, kitap incelemesi ve tanıtımı gönderen değerli akademisyen ve araştırmacılara, kıymetli vakitlerini makaleleri incelemeye ayıran hakem heyetine, dergi yayın ve danışma kurulu üyelerine, yazı kuruluna ve emeği geçen herkese teşekkür eder, bir sonraki sayıda buluşmak üzere hepinize saygılar sunarım. Dear readers, We are very excited to present the fourth issue of Journal of Social Sciences. The increasing interest in our journal encourages us to think positively about future. We have already met the quota for the next issue. This is a true sign that we are on the right track. Moreover, our journal has been added into the international indexes including EBSCO, DRJI, OAJI and Advanced Science Index. The valuable support provided by our University President, our Rector and the Dean’s office helps us enormously in publishing this academic journal. Good quality in academic publishing is the main factor encouraging young academicians to write academic papers. In that respect, our journal strictly applies scientific criteria and fundamental rules of academic publishing; and this principle enables us to receive an increasing number of high quality academic articles. Although we intend to include a higher number of academic articles in the next issues of our journal, we only allow for maximum of eight articles in each issue in order not to digress from journal format or exhaust our dear readers. The excess of articles submitted to our journal drag us to a happy weariness. We need to acknowledge that there are many articles that could not be published in this issue although they have been evaluated and approved by our referees. The articles that are approved but not published in the current issue are put in queue for publication based on their date of submission. Dear readers of “Journal of Social Sciences”, In this issue, you will find eight articles and two book reviews, which we believe you will read with interest. I would like to thank the esteemed academicians and researchers who submitted articles, book reviews; and the referees who kindly devoted their valuable time for reviewing the submitted works. I also would like to extend my gratitude to the members of the Advisory Board and of the Publication Board; as well as the staff who contributed to our journal.
