AWARENESS OF FOOD LOSSES IN THE NEW
CENTURY AND SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS TO
REDUCE THEM
Due to rapid industrialization worldwide, there has been a significant increase in the
amount of various types of waste. Food waste is the most important of these wastes,
which has a direct impact on climate change. Waste management practices vary in each
country; however, the relationship between food waste and climate change is complex
and sustainable waste management strategies are necessary to address this issue.
