Electronic businesses, which are different type of commercial business was constructed and established with the help of the internet, and this now affects the way clients react. The current research seeks to explore the effect of information-task-fit, on electronic word of mouth (eWOM) of users of Turkish airlines. Furthermore, the present study examines the moderating role of website quality on the aforementioned relationship. Six hundred and four usable questionnaires were obtained online within a 6 month period with the use of Google forms The current study used a quantitative and cross-sectional type of research method. The anticipated interactions were estimated using structural equation modeling. All anticipated relationships were supported, with discernment that the availability of users required information on the website impacted them to engage in eWOM. As hypothesized, the quality of the website, moderated the relationship between information-task-fit (INTF) and eWOM. The consequences of the present research proposes comprehensions into maintaining and why not improving the website quality by making the website user friendly, so as to attract potential users and keep current users. This study's complete model is scare in the airline service literature. In consequence there should be an added research on the influence of information task fit website information and design on supposed service quality and internet word of mouth. Managers should also uphold an elevation website ethics by employing good professional website builders to attract their usage. This study offers inferences for airline website quality.Öğe Green training an effective strategy for a cleaner environment: Study on hotel employees(WILEY, 111 RIVER ST, HOBOKEN 07030-5774, NJ, 2022) Alola, Uju Violet; Çöp, Serdar; Tarkang Mary, Magdaline Enow MbiThe call for tourism sector to contribute its quota to a cleaner and a greener environment is gaining momentum. The data were analyzed using AMOS 23 version. GT stands as an important implementation to directly stimulate employee organizational citizenship behavior towards the environment (OCBE) and PBC. The practical and theoretical implication is included; also suggestions for further research are listed below.Öğe The Impact of Corporate Information Management Platform on E-Commerce Environment in The Context of Entrepreneurship(Pamukkale Üniversitesi, 2023) Sipahi Döngül, Esra; Artantaş, Erkin; Tarkang Mary, Magdaline Enow MbiAddressing the e-commerce environment, this study is designed to validate the feasibility of an enterprise information management platform based on cloud storage technology and system testing. Experimental results show that the platform designed in this article has approximately 195 fluctuating processes per second in the average number of transactions per second, which has a better test effect in terms of business efficiency. In addition, other performance index tests have reached the standard. These include a user authentication time of just 0.96 seconds, a material information input time of 2.54 seconds, a material information query response time of only 0.97 seconds, and a relatively fast response time. The research is limited to Turkey. This research is expected to provide an efficient information management platform for the entire production process for the sales of the enterprise and encourage the development of business management informatics in Turkey. The study is limited to the topic of cloud storage technology and is based on system testing.Öğe The Impact of Corporate Information Management Platform on E-Commerce Environment in The Context of Entrepreneurship(Pamukkale Üniversitesi, 2023) Sipahi Döngül, Esra; Artantaş, Erkin; Tarkang Mary, Magdaline Enow MbiAddressing the e-commerce environment, this study is designed to validate the feasibility of an enterprise information management platform based on cloud storage technology and system testing. This paper makes use of 3 and 4 star hotels in the South-west region of Cameroon. Five-star hotels were not included in the study because none were found in the region. Leader–member exchange (LMX) induces good employee job performance and innovative outcomes through work engagement. Good behaviour can be seen in their positive innovations and voice contributions. As a result, leadership should be an essential part in the management setting; this work examines the influence of LMX on employees work engagement (EWE), and subsequently the effect of EWE on innovative work behaviour (IWB) and employee voice behaviour (EVB) in the hotels in the South-west region of Cameroon. Poor relationship between leaders and their subordinates hinders employee's progress and threatens the organizations' productivity and long-term success. Data used for the present study included 272 usable responses from hotel employees using three waves of collection with self-administered questionnaire. Correlation, confirmatory factor and path analysis were implored for data analysis. According to the results, it was confirmed that leader's positive interactive behaviour could have an expressive influence on their follower's engagement levels, propagated their innovation and positive voice suggestions. Staffs with EWE can express innovative behaviour and pursue innovation by voluntarily performing behaviours that are not included in their roles. Hence LMX inspired employee's engagement, and the study has great theoretical and practical implications included.Öğe Investigating the factors that trigger airline industry purchase intention(SPRINGER, ONE NEW YORK PLAZA, SUITE 4600, NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, 2020) Tarkang Mary, Magdaline Enow Mbi; Alola, Uju Violet; Nange, Ruth Yunji; Öztüren, AliAs the main communication platforms for today's competitive air transportation market expands, airline websites need to be user friendly to trigger positive electronic word of mouth. Website quality constitutes an influencing factor in consumer behavior and decision-making. Therefore the purpose of this study is to test informarion-task-fit on etetronic word of month, purchase intention and website quality. The study tested the effect of information-task-fit on website quality, electronic word of mouth and purchase intention of users of Turkish Airlines. A total of 604 questionnaires was obtained online within six months, using a quantitative and cross-sectional approach. The proposed above relationships were evaluated via structural equation modeling. Results were as hypothesized, with the perception that the availability of information required by users on the website influence website quality, electronic word of mouth and purchase intention. The website quality also influenced users' intention to purchase and electronic word of mouth. These results offer insights into improving and maintaining website quality by making the website user friendly so as to attract greater audience. This study's comprehensive model is lacking in service airline literature, thus this is an added research on the influence of information-task-fit web information and design on supposed quality of service and intention to purchase. Managers should also maintain high standards by hiring professional website builders so as to increase their usage. This study provides implications for airline website quality. A conclusion and further studies are presented below.Öğe An Investigation into the Role of Tourism Growth, Conventional Energy Consumption and Real Income on Ecological Footprint Nexus in France(DIPONEGORO UNIV, DEPT MARINE SCI, SEMARANG 00000, INDONESIA, 2023) Tarkang Mary, Magdaline Enow Mbi; Adedoyin, Festus Fatai; Bekun, Festus VictorPreviously documented studies in the literature on how tourism leads to economic growth in the form of tourism-led growth hypotheses (TLGH) has been investigated. This study presents a new perspective on the growth of tourism by considering its impact on conventional energy consumption, real income level, and emission via the channel of globalization. Sequences of econometric tests were conducted to validate the hypothesized claims between tourism development and growth impact on conventional energy consumption and pollution proxy by ecological footprints, globalization GDP per capita, biocapacity, and tourists for the case of France. Empirical evidence from the Granger causality test presents a uni-directional causality from ecological footprints to GDP per capita and from biocapacity to ecological footprints. The correlation matrix shows interrelation amongst series with biocapacity significantly correlating with ecological footprints with tourist’s arrival having a positive correlation with ecological footprints and a negative one with biocapacity. GPD per capita was found to positively affect the ecological footprints and have a negative correlation with biocapacity and a significant relationship with tourists' arrivals. Additionally, globalization exerts a positive impact on ecological footprints, and its effect on biocapacity was found to be negative although globalization's effect on tourists’ arrivals and per capita GDP is significant. The ARDL estimation indicated biocapacity as a neutral agent for ecological footprints, tourist arrivals having a negative impact on ecological footprints, and globalization significantly affecting ecological footprints. From these findings, it is evident that tourism growth has a significant impact on energy consumption and pollution. Policy recommendations were also provided in this study accordingly.
