dc.description.abstractThis study aims to present the potential of hydroelectric, wind, solar and biomass sources of the TR83 Region which ensures the sustainability and security of the supply. Besides, it reduces the environmental pollution and greenhouse gas emission in the atmosphere. The study demonstrates the present use of both renewable and nonrenewable energy sources together with the plants that will be under construction in the future in the TR83 Region, consisting of the cities Amasya, Tokat, Çorum and Samsun in mid black sea region in Türkiye, also shows the potential of GHG emission reduction together with the present and estimated values. Furthermore, this study proposes to increase the public awareness about the usage of the current potential of the sources and encourages the investors to make investments in the region.en_US
